Having tried to plot
Cl_x, Cl_y as well as Cd_x, Cd_y I can see that Cl_x = Cd_x just like Cl_y = Cd_y I can also see that default setting for Cd is X, while default for Cl is Y. Would I be correct in assuming, that Cd and Cl are actually Force coefficients for X and Y respectively, which is in direct proportion of X and Y area projections (if speaking about the pitched airfoil)? |
