Multiphase simulation of solid particles

Hi all,

I have a pretty simple question. I am setting up my first multiphase simulation. I am modeling solid particulate in a fluid. I will be using a UDF to describe the diffusion of these particles throughout the volume. However, in the setup I have a question. Do I define my solid particulate as a mixture? Currently, I am going to 'List/Show All' in the Phases Tab, and defining my particulate as the secondary phase, where I can set the particle diameter and attach my UDF.

However, when I look at the materials tab in the Tree, my particulate is defined as a fluid. Is this correct? In reality, my particulate is a solid, but perhaps it should be defined as a fluid in the simulation.

Thanks for any help with this question!
