von karman is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,
I am currently working on powder bed modeling using VOF, The powder is characterized by mathematical particle size (diameter) distribution of spherical shape. (average diameter 100 μm) and the bved has a defined thikness .
I would like to ask if is there any features in Fluent to generate Random
Packing of Spherical Particles according to this distribution using VOF technique (like sequential addition algorithm) ?
or should i use other algorithm ans save the data (centre coordinate and diameter of each particle ) in text file and read it by the udf ?

Thanks in advance
regards
