DPM particle tracks with and without turbulence dispersion
I'm tracking particles in an Axisymmetric geometry that is in XY plane.
With turbulence dispersion being off, particle tracks passes through the axis and hit the wall at negative Y and X=0 When I turn the turbulence dispersion on, particles bounce back at the axis. Does anyone know why? The other wired thing is the impact position when turbulence dispersion is on. It gives me particles with P_POS(p)[1]<0 but as shown in the figure all particles hit at P_POS(p)[1]>0. I don't see this problem with turbulence dispersion being off. With turbulence dispersion P_POS(p)[0] P_POS(p)[1] P_POS(p)[2] 0.000006 -0.000294 -0.000000 0.000006 0.000571 -0.000188 0.000005 -0.000231 -0.000092 Without turbulence dispersion P_POS(p)[0] P_POS(p)[1] P_POS(p)[2] 0.000006 -0.000294 0.000000 0.000006 0.000225 0.000000 0.000006 0.000126 0.000000 |
