Hi all,

Now I have two surface mechanisms of methane. when I open them with notepad, one is disordered and the other is in perfect order.



The content of the two mechanisms are the same except they are arranged in different order. both the suffix of the two files are 'che'.

However, the disordered file can be used in Fluent without any error while the one in perfect order causes error like 'received a fatal signal (segmentation fault)'

I am wondering though these two files are the same superficially, they're different in essence.

Can anybody tell me are there any differences between these mechanisms or how can I generate a new chemkin mechanism file which Fluent can recognize?

PLZ somebody help me with it. It has confused me for weeks
