Time step help

Hi,

I'm doing a conjugate heat transfer simulation using ANSYS Fluent.

I have total cells of 700K.

I have critical areas in my geometry where the gap between the wall is close to 20 micrometer. Number of cells across this section is 7.
Based on the Courant number calculation I'm reaching a time step 1e-6

The minimum face area I get after mesh generation is of the order of e-12 m^2

I have inlet velocity of 40 m/s

Could someone suggest me a way to increase my time step to 1e-4 order so that I could speed up my simulation.

I use 20 cores and 1 GPGPU but my simulation takes close to 2 weeks to give 5 second data.

What is your maximum CFL Number during running?
