Hello everyone,
I have implemented a SIMPLE segregated solver in Matlab to solve the lid driven cavity flow problem. I have checked the solution by running the same problem in Fluent. So I just have a very general question, why is Fluent faster than my Matlab code? I guess there are many answers for this question but what do you believe are the most relevant? Convergence criteria and under-relaxation factors are the same for both cases as well as the initial conditions. |
