Hey,

I have a CHT analysis with cooling fluid flowing through a structure. I'd like to output the temperature of the fluid at the center of the first element layer (C_T(c0,t0)) as I am using that as a "bulk" temperature, and need to perform further operations in a 3rd party software.

Is there anyway to export this data? I am using CFX as a GUI for post-processing and I currently export "Wall adjacent temperature" of the nodes on the fluid side of the interface between fluid and solid.

Is it possible to create my own parameter & export the data?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

just figured it out -

C_UDMI(c0,t0,0) = tbulk; (where tbulk is retrieved earlier in my UDF)

have to declare it upfront in my journal file as:

/define/user-defined/user-defined-memory 0
