Positive radiative heat flux, negative convective heat flux how can this be ? |

I have attached pictures of the problem. Basically it is burners heating up a kettle. THe first shows the fluid domin and the second the kettle.
Why do I get radiative heat flux back into the fluid domain? Is this possible or is the model not accurate? best regards. I though that q rad = emissivity constant x (T-Tinf) and q convective = h x (T-Tinf) so how can one be positive and the other not ?? regards |
