Moving wall imposed with rotation and revolution

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I would like to impose a constant rotating velocity (Speed 300 rad/s) on a shaft wall by using Moving Wall, but the shaft also revolves as a rigid body. So the rotation-axis origin is changing with time, e.g. X(t), Y(t), Z(t).

sorry for my horrible English and hope you can understand me.

Is there any approach to set the central point changing with time?

Thank you very much!

You could use a user-defined function to describe the time-dependent boundary condition with a DEFINE_PROFILE macro. A similar question has been asked at: https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/fl...y-profile.html where you could start from the UDF suggested and then apply the translation of the origin.
