Propeller cavitation setup

Hi all,

I'm trying to simulate a marine propeller for its cavitation using fluent. I'm using Moving Reference Frame approach for the full model instead of using periodic conditions.

I have defined two materials: water(primary phase) and water vapour(secondary phase), the mechanism is set as cavitation and model is set as Schnerr-Sauer, with a vapour pressure of 3540 Pa.
The rotating domain is set for 2400rpm.

In boundary conditions, inlet is given a velocity of 7.69m/s and for phase-2 the volume fraction is set as 0.

At outlet, pressure outlet condition is specified with gauge pressure as 90000Pa.

The blades and hub were given no slip condition with rotational speed 0rpm relative to adjacent cell zone and the far field is given as slip wall with absolute velocity 0rpm.

While im trying to initialize the solution im getting the error below

Error: received a fatal signal (Segmentation fault).
Error Object: #f

Can anyone please help me to spot the error and move forward for running calculations.

Thank You
Naveen

I got answer for my question.
I changed the standard wall functions to enhanced wall function and it solved my problem

Hi there, can you please post your workbench project file?
I have just started with something similar to what you are doing, and your files will be of great help to me.

Thank you!
