raghuramswaroop is on a distinguished road
Where should I define the thermal property "Expansion (alpha)" property during defining a material ? I can't see the option.

It depends on what equation of state you are using.

What are you trying to model that needs the thermal expansion coefficient? In many cases, the thermal expansion is implicitly defined by the eos for density. A constant density eos for example, has an alpha of 0.
