Dear All,
I have a geometry file which is in stl format. I edited the geometry using solidworks to close the open ends adn saved it as .igs format. The problem is when I imported the solid geometry in fluent, I get warning of exceeding the academic version limit. I think that the problem is due to the no. of faces. The limit is 300 faces and I have way more than that.I am unable to merge those faces. I can't also use ICEM CFD as the ansys student doesn't have it. Can anyone please help to find a solution of this problem? I can share the geometry file if anyone wants to take a look. Thank You. Last edited by mahdihasan; July 11, 2018 at 01:59. |
