Hi All
I have been trying to create zero thickness winglet in a rectangular channel. To achieve this I extruded the rectangular channel to create flow domain. Then extrude-add frozen the rectangular winglet with a small thickness. Now I assigned both the channel and winglet bodies as fluid. Then while setting boundary conditions, I set one wall of the winglet as well and others as interface. There is no error in meshing. There are no other operations that I have used in the design modeller. I am not sure about the method I have used to create the thing winglet surface. However I started running the solution twice but did not converge. I just wanted to be sure that the method of geometry creation is right. If anyone has a better idea on how to create the thin winglet in channels, please let me know. Thanks in advance. Last edited by KAUR; July 11, 2018 at 16:39. |
