Default Transfer of mesh from Meshing to Fluent destroys the mesh

Hi CFD-Community.

I am trying to simulate the flow over a disk with spherical indentations on one side of the disk with Fluent. When I am transferring the mesh, which was created in ANSYS Meshing, to Fluent (per drag&drop in Workbench on mesh cell) the mesh gets completely destroyed. PFA two pictures. One shows the mesh in ANSYS Meshing and the other one the transferred mesh in Fluent. I didn't do anything in Fluent, I just imported the mesh over workbench and displayed the mesh on a zy_plane. Is this just a display error (it only occurs on the side with the indentations)? As Fluent also shows a very good mesh quality and only hexahedral cells and quadrilateral faces in the console when it initializes the mesh i am really not sure whether it is a real error, but as u can see one face of one cell is even missing completely. If it isn't a display error how can this error be solved? What could be the reason for the error? Does anybody had this error already?

One additional information: When i am refining the mesh in Meshing the errors get less.

do you also get the error when you export the mesh from the mesher, and import it in a stand-alone FLUENT instance (so a separate launch, not via the workbench)?

I don't see what is missing from the image of the mesh in Fluent. I see what looks like a mesh of a fluid volume of some plate/disc with indentations.

I don't understand at all what the picture of the mesh in Ansys meshing is. Are you displaying the surface mesh? But then this is different than displaying a slice of the mesh in the zy plane. Let's compare apples to apples here.

I will try and let you know, thank you!

I don't understand at all what the picture of the mesh in Ansys meshing is. Are you displaying the surface mesh? But then this is different than displaying a slice of the mesh in the zy plane. Let's compare apples to apples here.

In both pictures you can see the fluid region around a disk with indentations. In both of the pictures we are looking at a zy_plane at x=0. In Fluent we are only looking at the plane and in Meshing we are looking at the section plane and of everything what's "behind", but the section plane in Meshing and the plane showed in Fluent is at x=0. That's why the mesh should be identical, but for some reason it is not. The mesh in Fluent shows many anomalies (even one face is missing at one element). I don't know why they appear and whether those are real anomalies in the mesh or just display errors.

I hope you understand the problem now, if not please let me know. I am very thankful for every kind of help. Sorry, for my short explanation in the first post. Do you know why those anomalies appear?

No I don't follow. Let's compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges.

Why do you think we are comparing apples to oranges here? What do you think we are comparing and what should be compared?

Because you don't show the same scene in both programs.

I do. Why do you think so? Both times i am showing the mesh on a zy-plane at x=0

Also got the same error in stand-alone with mesh export. What could lead to this error? Do you have any idea?
