Hai... I am a beginner in Ansys Fluent. I am having difficulty in doing the Fluid structure interaction of multiphase system. It would be great if any one could help me to solve this problem. I will explain my difficulty here.
In the initial stage fluent fluid analysis was done. Fluid part was modelled, meshed and the analysis was done in fluent as multi phase system. The structural analysis of the solid part was done next. It was modelled, meshed and then the pressure from the fluid part was imported to the structural solid part. Then I tried to solve the analysis. But it was displaying an error message"An error occurred while transferring the load. The addin did not generate any data to import.". I couldn't understand what is the error occurred. I checked the imported load transfer summery. It was displaying "-- ERROR -- Cannot calculate force. Variable 'Air.Volume Fraction' does not exist." After this I Changed the volume fraction of the fluent fluid part for various values and continued the analysis. But still the same error message was displayed.. But this method works well for the FSI analysis of single phase system. |
