Good afternoon, Guys
Just tried to make a triangle and Meshed it using Ansys Meshing and used Named-Space to have different Boundary Condition(BC) and zones. Here is a screenshot that shows my "Cell zone shot"s in Ansys Meshing And a screenshot that shows my BCs in Ansys Meshing So finally when I translate it to fluent I get different BCs. Here is a screenshot of what I'm saying While my Cell zone conditions are correct. Here is a screenshot on the cell zone conditions What's going on? That's not the end of the story! When I try to do the initialization I get this error Any idea would be appreciated! ------------------------------------------------ I've made a thread in the Ansys Meshing forum but didn't get any answer. Thought maybe I can get an answer ovehere. Here is a link to that thread: I get different boundary condition after translating to fluent Sorry for duplicate topic. |

Simply giving them a name does not assign it any type of boundary condition. Although you did import the inlets as velocity inlets, you can see the remaining surfaces all got assigned walls. You need to change these accordingly. Get your domain set up. Then set up your models to what you want it to be. If you can't make it past these two steps, there's no sense in discussing what happens when you initialize.
