Transient Simulation - Fluent remove my case and data

Hello there!
First of all sorry for my bad english.

Im doing a transient simulation and I specify Fluent to save the case and data after 15 time steps.

Yesterday, I did 90 time steps (so the program save 6 files of case and data). Today I turn on my computer to continue with my simulation but after open my last case and data file the program delete the previous file (5 files) and I only have my last simulation file.

How can I avoid this?
How can I continue my simulation without deleting the previous files?

Thank you.

Hi,

In order to help you, you need to specify your problem little more extensively. First, are you processing your data under Windows or Linux, then via GUI or with a use of command line (TUI). With or without Workbench environment???

I have also had this problem. I don't know why this happens. Before closing the window, check your workbench whether everything is updated or else copy the dat files to some other folder before closing the workbench.

This is a workbench problem because there's no way Fluent by itself can do this (Fluent doesn't check for existing .cas and .dat files). Unfortunately I don't use workbench to tell you what to do to fix it.

Try this in Workbench:

Tools>Options>Fluent>(and uncheck "automatically delete old solutions on start of new calculations")

That probably will help!
