Hello everyone.
I want to simulate the rotation of rotror in the channel(2D). The picture is attached in this message. The motion of rotor is passive using Six DOF. The water will come into boundry "inlet" and leave from "outlet". The water will push the rotor to rotate.



I want to monitor the pressure of each blade of rotor. The surface of blade1 has been named as a part of surfaces of "rotor", I can't name this surface "blade1" again.Therefore, what should I do to monitor each blade?

Just split the surfaces again using separate faces. i.e. mesh/surfaces/separate-faces

Thanks for you help. You mean I should separately name surface of each blade, like "blade1""blade2""blade3". I will make that the motion of "blade2" and "blade3" are relative about "blade1" in Dynamic Mesh Zones dialog. Is this way correct or not?

It sounds like you're asking a different question now.

You asked how to name blade1 blade1 again because it is grouped in the rotor group. You need to separate it if you don't want it grouped... Why are you asking me if that's what you wanted to do?

And now you ask a question about dynamic mesh which is completely unrelated to the original question.
