Interface behaves like wall

2 Attachment(s)
Hello Everybody,

I am simulating a gas engine with ANSYS Fluent Version 18.2. To avoid remeshing I generated the cylinder as a structured mesh (to be able to layer the movement of the piston). Actually i have six different interfaces on one plane/level, as you can see in the picture (I just left one interface out). When I start a cold-flow simulation, the piston starts to move and the temperature changes, the interfaces behave like a wall (see the temperature-picture). The support just give me hint to use the following command:
(rpsetvar 'nonconformal/smallest-area-tolerance-factor 0.005)
But changing the parameter did not solve the problem...

I hope somebody can help me!
Best regards,
Max

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a very similar problem. Does anyone know the solution? Sometimes the interfaces work and sometimes they don't. I've checked the settings many times and they're always the same. Any ideas?
