Hello people,

I try to simulate air flow analysis. I attach the picture for better understanding.

What I try to do is, I would like to create a air flow through a cylinder that contains solid body located inside of it.

I create cylinder (enclosure-fluid) to simulate air and give boundry conditions(inlet-outlet-wall) and solid part which I put inside of the cyclinder.

I can manage to simulate air flow after boolean operation between fluid and solid and setting boundry conditions.

However, I would like to see what happens if there is a another air flow from the face of a solid body inside of the cylinder.
When I create named selection on the face I want for the air to come out, fluent recognize that named face as interface, so I can't change it to velocity inlet. I tried many things to manage that secondary air flow but no success..

I kindly ask how can I do that simulation?

So answering to my own question. Maybe it can help people who face similar issue.

I can't manage to do above mentioned operation in fluent. So after many trials, I draw the whole geometry including the enclosure in solidworks and combine them in solidworks too. Although, I can't use the ansys add-in. So I tried to import the geometry as iges, that didn't work too (don't know why?). I imported geometry as step file. Like this, I managed generate another air flow from a face.

But there must be a way to do that in fluent, so I appreciate if anyone knows.
