Laminar simulation using air as a working fluid
Hello friends,
I am doing three dimensional simulation of heat transfer for flow through uniform micro channel with air as a working fluid. Pressure based solver/steady I have switched on the energy equation.. convergence criteria is 10^-6 SIMPLE algorithm, Pressure-second order Momentum and energy-QUICK but the solution was never converged...please help me if I did any mistake regarding the simulation with air as working fluid....appreciate your help Thanks in advance.:):) |

What do you mean by the solution never converged ? did you get any errors ? AMG divergence ? Regards, Annan |

What about your mesh ? quality and cell size ?
Have you tried running the simulation in unsteady ? |
