BombSka is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am trying to simulate simplified model of scubber unit used in biomass plants. The thing is that I need to simulate hot gas flow through pipe with direct water injection using spray nozzle. Gas temperature is around 180C and has H2O mass fraction of about 15-45%. water is in vapour state as it is evaporated from wet biomass as it burns. A sprayed water is about 60C an is sprayed directly into hot gas which cools them below water dewpoint and condenses moisture from gas. The main thing that I need to simulate that steam condensation process and see particle movement, temperature change, pressure and etc. Could be few separate models to see all these thing, but condensation is MOST important. Inlet gas velocity should be around 10-50 m/s or 3-5 m3/s. Water MUST be sprayed as a droplets of about 1 liter per second.

Adding video of how my model should look like. Setup shown in a video does not work. I tried. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsWwdDvTkc8

So, the question is, which model, and how to use it to simulate what I need?
