Hi all,

I have been trying to complete a code validation of entropy generation due to fluid friction and heat transfer, against this paper https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...35193308000456 . The goal is to recreate the plots in figure 3c and 3d.

After entering the equations for fluid friction and heat transfer irreversibility into the custom field functions I am able to obtain a plot and maximum value for heat transfer that is in good agreement. But my maximum value for fluid friction irreversibility is off by a factor of 10^-10, does anybody know what might be causing this issue. I am fairly certain all the equations are entered correctly, but obviously something is wrong.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.
