Set mesh element size in journal file

I am trying to study a 3D flow around an Ahmed body.

For my particular case, a mesh element size of 0.025m consumes 33 GB of RAM.

I tried reducing the enclosure size and concentrating the nodes around the body but it still needs about 19 GB which is more than what my computer can handle.

In fact, it froze.

I am familiar with working with my university's hpc to run ansys simulation.

However, I have never done meshing in a journal file before.

If I mesh and set boundary conditions all from the journal file and just submit the job to the hpc, i can avoid the long wait time on my computer to mesh and open up the setup screen only to freeze.

To summarize the question:

How do I do the meshing and setup on a journal file?
