Default how to convert ppm to volume fraction in ansys fluent?

hello, how can i convert nanofluid( 500ppm) with specified density of nano particle(300kg/m3) and 5 litres of this nanofluid to volume fraction .beacuse in ansys for second phase i need volume fraction. can i change ppm to volume fraction in ansys? if not, how can i convert it?

Depends on the particle size.


Particle volume fraction



= All particles volume / Volume of the fluid



= One particle volume * number of particles in this volume / Volume of the fluid




= One particle volume * (ppm * Total volume of container / Volume that passes per minute) / Volume of the fluid


= One particle volume * ppm * Total volume of container / (Volume that passes per minute * Volume of the fluid )


= One particle volume * ppm / (Volume that passes per minute)



= (4/3 pi R^3 m^3) * 500 min^-1 / XXX m^3/min


= ... (dimensionless)


You will need the particle size R and your volumetric mass flow rate XXX (converted to a value per minute, or convert the 500 min^-1 to a per-second value by dividing it by 60).
