Hello everyone!

I'm kind of new to CFD simulations and I've run into a problem which I'm sure might be something quite simple but haven't been able to solve it by my own.
I'm running a simulation trying to see how much the flow pressure drops after a contraction (kind of a Venturi effect).

Here it is how the geometry looks:

The inlet of the "pipe" (which is supposed to assemble an artery) is 5mm in diameter. Since this is a planar simulation, I set the mesh thickness to 3,925mm so the inlet/outlet area would have the same value as if it was round.

My boundary conditions were an inlet pressure of 13332Pa and a mass outflow of 0,00125 kg/s (calculated from assuming 0.6m/s velocity at the outlet, and a fluid density of 1060 kg/m3). I set the flow viscosity to 2,78e-3 Pa/ms. This gives a Reynolds number of around 1100, so we don't have any turbulence.

I ran the simulation and everything went smoothly. So far so good. But when I go to CFD-Post and check the velocity contours I'm getting this:

The velocity doesn't even reach 1cm/s. Therefore, the pressure drop I'm getting is almost not existent. Why is this happening? I'm missing something in the set up process? I've tried it from doing this from scratch again but I keep getting the same results. Any thoughts?
