Hi
I have been trying to simulate a 2D laminar nanofluid flow around a triangular obstacle by applying the discrete phase model (DPM) based on data below:
paper title: "discrete particle model for convective AL2O3-water nanofluid around a triangular obstacle": http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.applthermaleng.2016.01.076

- AL2O3-water nanofluid with the particle volume fraction of 5%
- particle mass flow rate injected from the inlet surface (about 17 kg/s) every 0.008 seconds
- two-way coupled model
- thermophoresis and Brownian forces are included

the problem is that after a few time steps, the message " temperature limited to '-' in '-' cells" appear in the console window, followed by the "floating point" error which terminates the calculations altogether. I have read somewhere that the source term URF needs to be changed constantly through the run process and if so, I have no prior experience in this area. Therefore, I'd appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts on how to solve this problem.
