Allow me to ask you this question :

the case where we have an obstacle of which the L1 length placed in a parallelepipedic channel . Dh is the hydraulic diameter of channel the Reynolds number given by FLUENT is based on L1 of the obstacle or Dh of the channel

what is the diameter of obstacle and enclosure? what is your area of interest ? obstacle only ?
