Massflow-Inlet possible Backflow?

Hello everybody,

i´ve created a 2d multiphase model in Ansys Fluent, where air flows through a massflow inlet into the system. It should be realized that the air is also pushed back in inlet direction because of pressure gradients along the geometry.

Now my question: is it possible that the air also could leave the system through the massflow inlet or do i have to Change boundary conditions, so that both-inlet flow and outlet flow is possible?

Thanks :)

opening boundary condition

try opening boundary condition which allows backflow.

but you need to have opening/backflow temperatures with you.
