Hi,
I am carrying out a simulation with a translational mesh, which is realized by a UDF. This is an incompressible 2D case with turbulence model, and a SIMPLE scheme is chosen. Both spatial and temporal discretization is 2nd-order in accuracy. The boundary conditions are shown on the picture attached. Inside the flow field is an airfoil. Velocity inlet is specified with a ux=U and uy=0. The whole field is sinking in a uniform velocity. The problem is, as shown in the sketched picture, a high pressure region appears in the corner of the flowfield, which is not expected. Does anyone have any idea of this problem? Any suggestion is appretiated. Thanks. |
