Hello everyone,
I'm working on evaporation and condensation in a straight tube. I had no problem with evaporation but condensation doesn't work. In simulation I used steady conditions, vof model (evaporation-condensation Lee), viscous k-omega SSt, primary phase water-liquid and secondary water-vapour. In material properties changed state enthalpy: for liquid on 0 and for vapour on -4.398771e+07. In boundary conditions: mass flow steam 0,2kg/s temp 375K and wall temp 270K. Solutions methods: coupled with volume fraction, pressure PRESTO, pseudo transient, hybrid initialization and 250 iterations. In results: Residuals and temperature contours looks good but there was no phase transition. Appreciate any help |
