Scientifix is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,
I am currently meshing a complicated geometry (external flow) on which I have a Body Of influence (for refinement).
Since the geometry is relatively complicated I am meshing it with tet elements.
But I have quite a large domain an tet elements are more expensive in terms of meshing and computation time than hex.
So this is what I would like to do :
- mesh with tet elements within the body of influence where the geometry is complicated.
- mesh the rest of the domain (rectangular box minus the Boi) with hex elements.

First question : is it possible to create such an hybrid mesh in fluent meshing ?

Second question : is it possible to script this procedure ?
I am using a journal file with this command line to mesh everything with tet right now :
/mesh automesh en* yes scoped pyramids tet yes

Thanks a lot in advance for your answers and advices,
Best,
Alexis
