Time step size and number of time steps

Hello Guys,
Can someone explain me about time step size and number of time steps in fluent? How to calculate the total simulation time in fluent? Thanks in advance. Best Regards, Kr660170 |

total time should be enough to model phenomena you are interested in.
time step should be small enough to get converged solution best regards |

Why are you running a transient simulation? Is the flow unsteady?
If you describe your model then someone can help you in more detail. |
