How to create Separate Zones in Fluent for a Fixed Zone Condition
 

I'm trying to do this exact problem outlined here that models an impeller with a fixed zone condition of a given velocity profile: http://www.afs.enea.it/project/neptu...ug/node234.htm

I'm kinda newish to CFD outside of airfoils and a concept I'm not familiar with is cell zones. How do I create these since they are different from just different planes in the same body which I'm comfortable doing? Is this something I can do in Design Modeler such as using a face split or does it have to be done in Mesher or Fluent? Once I get that I can assign a fixed velocity then once I know that works I can write a UDF which I'm learning to do.
