Help in Tutorial of a duct in adjoint solver Fluent
1 Attachment(s)
Hi, I'm new in this forum.
I'have to learn how to use the adjoint solver in Fluent so I'm following the steps of the tutorial proposed by Ansys from this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCzK8NEl0WU). I don't really understand why, in the creation of the observable of the variance of the velocity at the outlet, it uses the Volume-integral type of integration, as I reported in the figure. Why is choosen that option even if the velocity is not a quantity that is stored per unit volume. Any suggestion?? I want to increase the uniformity of the flow at the outlet. Thanks a lot |
