Hello,

I am currently working on a ANSYS Fluent model which involves injecting sand particles into laminar water flow. I am aiming to investigate the effects of adhesion on the particle behaviour. However, I have tried the various methods of particle injection such as group, surface etc which results in the particles following a vertical downward path so there is no particle interaction.

Therefore I would like to know if there is a way of injection the particles with random velocities in the x,y,z direction to promote particle-particle interactions. I am aware this may be possible by creating an injection file using MATLAB but I have no MATLAB experience so I'm wondering if there is a simpler method.
