I want to get the temperature distribution for an hour of an aluminum cylinder which has small inlets and outlets for air. One portion of the cylinder is made up of glass through which a flux of 1000 KW/m2 is passing. The Frame (aluminum body) is adiabatic and absorbs 70% of the internally reflected radiations. I want to do the simulation in ANSYS Fluent. Now I don't know which solar radiation model should I use? and looking for some other useful guidelines? Monte carlo or DO or any other?
