lignorant is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I am trying to figure out if I can couple a python CFD code that I have written myself with Fluent to run together an share information at an interface they would share.

The problem is as follows; There is a typical channel flow with an added small cooling inlet located at the bottom of the channel. The cooling air from that inlet goes through a porous media which is calculated in the python code. The exit of the python code is the inlet of the cooling air in the channel and that is the interface they would share and transfer data to one another.

Let me know if;
-It is possible to couple Fluent with python and how.
-If there is another program than Fluent that I could couple it that would be easier.
-Or if I should just write the channel flow myself.

Thank you.
