Pulsating Pressure Plot with time in CFD Post

2 Attachment(s)
Hello!!
I am Working on Pulsating Pressure flow in a pipe. In that regard in CFD POST I want to take a plot between Pressure Vs Time at a particular plane. I am not able to do this, because in the XY Transient/sequence section, locations tab, created locations are not visible..... as I am new to Ansys fluent can anyone help me out in this....
I have attached the images also.pls have a look at those....Thank You.

The pictures are 1.what I have got and 2.what I have to get respectively.

vs Time or vs Space

Since you mentioned a plane, there is no single value that it CFD-Post can plot against time. So, either you can plot pressure vs. space (or a scatter plot, if you have newer CFD-Post) or you can plot one value of pressure vs time. Now, this one value could be maximum on the plane, minimum, or some kind of statistical number, such as average, rms, etc. For this, you have to create an expression, such as, areaAve(p)@<nameOfPlaneOrSurface>. Instead of location, use this expression in plot.

Pressure Pulsation Plot

Thank you very much for your quick response sir.
It is not necessary for me to plot the graph in a particular section. I am okay, if it is possible to plot the curve at a particular point also. my pressure value at a particular point is varying with time, so I am in the requirement of plotting a curve as shown in the following picture, Attachment 74742

I also want to get a plot like this sir..! is this possible in CFD Post? If so can you please explain the steps, as I am a beginner sir. Thank You:):):)

Transient Plot

You should follow the procedure that I explained earlier, i.e., create a transient plot with expression. It will give you the plot you expect.

Pulsating Pressure Plot

Respected Sir,
As I am beginner I can't generate the plot. I tried the method you mentioned but I was not able to generate a plot between pressure Vs Time. I am getting only a single value in the table sir.

It will be great helpful to me if you can explain it step by step. Because the result generation is the final step of my project sir. so please help me..
Thank You very much.:):)

Requirements

The very first requirement to be able to plot a transient graph is availability of the data. If you have only the last data file available, then you cannot plot it. If you have intermediate files available, either .cdat file written by Fluent or .dat(.gz) files, then you can do it.
