viscous resistance and inertial resistance of porous media

Hi all,

I am doing a porous media combustion with fluent. When setting resistance coefficients of porous media, I need to set viscous resistance and inertial resistance.

I often set viscous coefficient and ignore inertial coefficient. I am wondering in what situations I can ignore inertial resistance and in what situations I can not.

Carry out an order of magnitude analysis for both terms. For most of the cases, particularly with velocity being greater than 1, inertial loss is more significant than viscous loss.
