I am trying with method of making planes and finding the mean temperature on each plane. but the plane in fluent is not coming perpendicular to the helical tube radial/tangential axis. How can I proceed?

Planes in Fluent will be created as per the user inputs. To create planes normal to helical axis you need to provide local normal at each point. A simpler solution would be to get these normal vectors and positions from the CAD tool. A more sophisticated solution would be to use local orthonormal basis and then create normals. This has to be done either using Scheme or C based UDF.

Can u tell a way to find a normal vector and position in solidworks. because after using helix with sweep tool it is not showing coordinate on each point.

I am afraid I have no idea about SW. May be someone else in the forum might help. However, if you use DM or SCDM, you can create planes within that CAD tool or, as suggested earlier, use equation of helix.
