Hi everyone I've a question about cell zone conditions in Fluent 19.
When I read a mesh (I'm using ansys meshing) all the bodies are set as fluid and I have to change them one by one to solid. Also I can copy one body conditions to others if they are different (I mean I can transformed a fluid to solid by copying their properties).
Is there any possibility to pre-set the cell zone conditions from the ansys meshing or other way to do it as I have a lot of different bodies and materials and doing this one by one it is very time consuming.
Thank you very much.

At the CAD and meshing stage, there is option to set whether a domain is solid or fluid. However, a better option would be to use command

def bc zone-type

to set all those zones to solid that you want. Furthermore, in newer versions, Fluent allows selecting multiple cells zones and then changing those to solid in one go.

Hi Vinem,
Can you confirm whether the feature you mentioned is available in Ansys 2020R2, as Iam unable to select more than 1 entity at a time in GUI cell zone conditions. I need to give it for >60 parts. So its highly tedious to do. and I agree I could have given that in WB or spaceclaim. But is there anyway like script file which helps in this?

Regards.
