Hi all,

Recently, I am doing a propane catalytic combustion simulation with fluent. I set the under relaxation factor of energy to 0.7 at beginning of iteration.

the maximum temperature of combustion kept increasing with iteration. In order to accelerate iteration, I set under relaxation factor of energy to 0.95, then the maximum temperature kept decreasing until to room temperature.

I wonder how would under relaxation factor of energy effect combustion results. How should I determine convergence in this case?

Best regards

Weiqiang
