Default Violation of particle conservation in a incompressible ideal gas

Hi everyone,

I'm working in a closed chamber (picture 1) that is filled with a gas. The chamber has inside 2 copper plates at 900°C and I want to simulate in transient mode the fluid inside the chamber, which is considered a incompressible ideal gas. When I did the simulation I realized that the density only drop with time (Pictures 2 and 3), so particle number is decreased. But this is a closed region, no variation of particle number is possible. I think this is related to the "incompressible" feature of the gas and when I changed to "ideal-gas" the solution doesn't converge. If someone could help me to fix the violation of particle conservation I would really appreciate it.

Regards,

KsaMe

To solve the problem, work with ideal gas for density and as a solving method choose COUPLED.
