Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to simulate flow at Mach 2 over a cavity. For the inlet I've used the steady state solution for a flat plate since in this way the boundary layer is already formed. The outlet and upper wall are set on pressure-far-field with the free stream conditions specified. The density is set as ideal-gas and the free stream conditions are:

M_inf=1.5
P_inf=66.4 kPa
T_inf=218 K.

I have used the interpolation for initializing the transient problem. However, the results I've obtained do not make any sense. I have attached the figures. I've also tried to extend the inlet wall and putting the inlet as pressure-far-field and it didn't work.

How can I fix it? Thanks in advance.
