Hydrodynamic cavitation for bubbles

Hi everyone,

I hope that you all are well during this lockdown period.

I am having some trouble in simulating hydrodynamic cavitation using an orifice. The goal of my simulation is actually to study the shape and behaviour of the bubbles that are generated. I've found video tutorials on how to do the cavitation simulation, but none show how to get the simulation to display the bubbles.

I've tried to look into simulating it as a spray using the VOF-to-DPM transition since droplets can be generated and seen using that method. But I've encountered problems with that as well. This might be because I've set the primary phase as water and the secondary phase as air.

Am I on the right track? If not, can someone point me in the direction I need to go?

Thanks in advance :)
