Dear Experts,

I am trying to simulate the compression process of a 2-stroke engine (pls see the attached file to know the Geometry). I am using the in-cylinder model to simulate the motion of the piston from Crank Angle of 180 deg to C.A of 360 deg.
My simulation including 2 fresh air inlet ports and I made 2 interfaces between 2 inlet port domains and the cylinder domain (as can see in the attached images). During the simulation process, at the time step 53, when the piston reaches the inlet ports, there is the following error occurred:

Error: coalesce_rib_faces: can't interpolate data, zones of different type detected.
Error Object: #f

Why did that error happen? And can anyone pls help me?
Your help will be very helpful to me.

Thank in advance!

hello dear
you must change your boundary condition of "walls to interface" in "direction" of your interface. in other words you must change all boundary conditions that slide through "motion wall" to interface and then define them in manual interface. in the last you have all boundary conditions of slider with "interface" mode, "no" part of that.
