Low Massflow Inlet causes no convergence

Hello,
I am new to this Forum and have a question about my simulation. I am simulating a multi-species flow through a channel. The Mass-Flow at the inlet is pretty low (about 10^-5 kg/s) and the two species are both liquid. One species enters the domain at the massflow inlet and the other is initally everywhre in the domain. The outlet is a pressure outlet. The solution doesn't converge and the temperatures are getting high (about 10^3 K). When I increase the mass-flow, everything works fine. Do you have any advices for me?

Thank you!

Hi Flo,
If you're solving incompressible flows, can you try velocity-inlet instead of mass-flow-inlet?
I would also like to remind you for control purposes only; If there is an initial temperature in the main fluid (host), you should define it by patch.
I hope that these can fix your problem.
Best regards,
Güven

Hi Güven,
thanks for your answer. I am simulating a compressible flow and i found a solution! I refined the mesh in flow direction and it worked. I was just confused by the fact, that higher massflows converged.

Best regards
Flo
