Fluid Direction Error

Hi Everyone,
I am simulating Airflow in the nozzle. I used the k-omega SST model for that but after passing the throat fluid direction is downward as shown in attached figure. How can I resolve this issue? I am using Ansys Fluent academic version 2020R1. Your response will be appreciated. Thank you! |

The short answer.... you can't.
This a physical phenomena called Coanda effect, in which the flow attaches to the wall. If you increase the width of your channel downstream of the throat it may solve the problem. But you should know that in an experiment you might see the same phenomena. |
